William Tuttle (age 26), his wife Elizabeth and their three children immigrated to Boston in 1635. They later settled in New Haven, Connecticut. Traces line of descent to Abigail Clark (b. 1713) who married Jonathan Bronson May 17, 1732.

Descendants of William Tuttle, who was born in England about 1607. He was baptized in Ringstead, County Northampton on 26 December 1607. He was a son of Simon Tuttle and Izabel Wells. He married Elizabeth about 1630. William and Elizabeth Tuttle emigrated from England and came to America in 1635 sailing on "Planter" with their three children. There were nine more children born in America. They first settled in Boston but moved 1639 to New Haven, Connecticut....

Life and family of Emily Amelia Stone (1839-1927), daughter of Amos Pease Stone and Amelia Bishop, who was born in Middletown, Middlesex, Connecticut, and died in Bountiful, Utah. She was the second wife of Newton Tuttle (1825-1905), son of Zerah Pierpont Tuttle and Maria Todd. He was born in North Haven, Connecticut. Couple was married 1855 in Salt Lake City. They were parents of eleven children, all born in Utah.
