Henry Paul (1781-1846) or his ancestors immigrated from Germany to Blair County, Pennsylvania. Descendants and relatives lived in Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Indiana and elsewhere.

Isaac B. Hoover (1824-1866), son of John Hoover and Elizabeth Brumbauch, was born in Blair County, Pennsylvania. He married Anny Longenecker and later Mary Ann Longenecker. He later moved to Indiana and then Kansas. Descendants lived in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Kansas, California, Texas, Oklahoma, and elsewhere.

Jesse Delono Metsker (1879-1978) was a descendant of John Metzger and Christianna Hoover and John C. Metzger/Metsker and Christina Ulrich whose families migrated from Pennsylvania, to Indiana and to Kansas. In 1904, he married Mary Edna Kinzie/Kinzey (1885-1980), descendant of David Kinzie (1799-1892) and Sarah Gish of Pennsylvania.

Jesse Jacob Brown, son of Jacob Hoover Brown and Susanah Michael, was born in 1885 in Ozawkie, Kansas. He married Ruth May Conrow, daughter of David Conrow, in 1915 in Kansas City, Missouri. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in England, Germany, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Missouri.

Homer Deeter Cassel was born 7 March 1895 in Dayton, Ohio. His parents were William Henry Cassel and Callie Caroline Vianna. He married Opal Gilbert Cassel (1892-1951) in 1922. They had three children. He died in 1980. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Germany.
