Gilbert Purdy (1721-1778), son of David Purdy. He married Mary Durland (1734-1813) ca. 1755. His ancestry is traced to Francis Purdy who emigrated from Yorkshire, England, first to Concord, then to Fairfield, Connecticut, about 1640. Descendants lived in New York, Ontario, Minnesota, Ohio, Iowa, California, Ohio, and elsewhere.

John Kissam (also spelled O'Casson or Ockeson) was born 1644 and immigrated to America from England. He married Susannah Thorne 10 July 1667. They arrived in New York prior to 1678 and settled at Great Neck, Long Island, New York. John and Susannah were the parents of two children. Descendants lived primarily in New York, Texas and elsewhere.

Karl Adam Christian Anhalt, a widower, emigrated in 1881 from Germany to Sibley County, Minnesota to join a married sister who had emigrated earlier as the wife of Heinrich Eckhart. Karl married again in 1883, and had his three children emigrated to join them. Descendants and relatives lived in Minnesota, South Dakota and elsewhere.
