Description
Humphrey Peirce II married Sarah Andrews. They lived in Salem, Massachusetts. Their son, John Peirce (1758-1827), established a school in north Baldwin County, Alabama, which was the first English-speaking school in the state. Other descendants of Humphrey Peirce lived in Massachusetts, Alabama, Maryland, and elsewhere. Some descendants changed their name to "Pierce.".
