Description
Maxatawny or De Long's Reformed Church was located in Maxatawny Township before moving to Bowers. It was a union church 1871-1900. The Reformed congregation is now known as Christ Reformed DeLong's Church in Bowers.

Description
This church was the Lutheran congregation of Christ (DeLong's) Church located in Maxatawny Township from 1859 (1870?) to 1900 when the union church burned. In 1901 a new Lutheran Church was built in Bowers and took the name Trinity. It later merged with St. Paul's of Lyons to become Hope Lutheran Church.
