Description
The Church was organized about 1736-1739 in Whitehall Township. The Lutherans joined in a union arrangement in 1764 which lasted until 1975. In 1957 the Reformed Church became the United Church of Christ. The location is now known as Egypt.

Description
William A. Helffrich was a pastor of the Reformed Church in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, serving Heidelberg (1845-1881), Ziegel's, Ebenezer (1845-1867, 1874-1879), Weisenberg (1851-1860), Lowhill, Fogelberg, Trexlertown and other localities. He also served parts of Berks County, namely Allegheny, Longswamp, Lynnville St. Peters, etc.
