The Church was organized about 1736-1739 in Whitehall Township. The Lutherans joined in a union arrangement in 1764 which lasted until 1975. In 1957 the Reformed Church became the United Church of Christ. The location is now known as Egypt.

Rev. Blumer served Lehigh County at Zion Reformed Church in Allentown, Egypt Reformed Church in Whitehall Township, Schlosser's Reformed Church in North Whitehall Township, and Jordan Reformed Church in South Whitehall Township.

The accounts "give the times of warning the militia, the services of the recruiting officers of the Pennsylvania Line, the names of many who fell in battle, the county contributing to the support of their widows, with the names of many soldiers who served at one time or another a tour of duty, ....
