It appears this chapter of the society covers eastern South Carolina counties. The issue examined included transcriptions of Marlboro County, South Carolina records.

The Sept. 1989 issue included material concerning Williamsburg and Darlington counties. The material in this issue is genealogical oriented. A supplement to vol. 22, no. 2 correlates surnames with files held by the society.

This Bulletin deals largely with the area of the Old Waxhaws in North and South Carolina, but surrounding counties are often included.
