The Bethel Church was apparently a union church since the beginning. In 1803 a new church was built and called New Bethel Zion. The union was dissolved in 1969. It is located in Greenwich Township near Grimville.

Description
The Reformed congregation has apparently met with the Lutherans since 1761. In 1803 the New Bethel Zion Church was built near Grimville for the use of both congregations. The union was dissolved in 1969. The Reformed congregation merged with Dunkel's (New Jerusalem) near Krumsville taking the name of New Jerusalem Zion United Church of Christ.

In Berks County he served the Grimville Charge 1913-1955 containing Bethel Reformed Church in Greenwich Township near/at Grimville, Dunkel's Reformed Church in Greenwich Township, Red Church (Jerusalem) in Albany Township near Kempton [not Stony Run].
