Description
Church is located in Marion Township, 1/2 mile from Stouchsburg. This church was started by the Lutherans who lost their church (Reed's) to the Moravians in 1742. Christ Lutheran is located in Marion Township about a half mile west of Stouchsburg.

Description
Organized 1723-1727 as a "Lutheran Meeting House at Tulpehocken". In 1742 Reed's Church was taken over by the Moravians. Some of the Lutherans formed Christ Lutheran Church. In 1747 Reed's Church again became Lutheran. The earliest surviving Lutheran register was begun in 1764. Reed's Church moved into Stouchsburg in 1895 and became Zion's. In 1963 Zion's merged with St. John's (Host) to become Zion-St. John's.
