Indianfield belonged to the Old Goshenhoppen parish which also included the congregations of Goshenhoppen and Tohicken. Some confirmations from Old Goshenhoppen are included in these records. Indianfield, later Little Zion Lutheran Church, is located at Telford in Franconia Township, near Earlington.

"Reverend Augustus Ludwig Dechant apparently began to preach in 1852 as the accompanying record seems to indicate. The congregations for which he preached varied a little at times, but his regular charge consisted of Keelor's, Old Goshenhoppen, Sumneytown and Pennsburg".
