Lists of persons in 1754 who belonged to the Lutheran Church with notes as to their knowledge of Swedish: Racoon Parish is the present-day Trinity Episcopal Church in Swedesboro, New Jersey; Pensneck Parish is St. George's Episcopal Church at Lower Penn's Neck, New Jersey; Wicacoa is now Gloria Dei at Philadelphia; Kingsessing is now St. Jame's Kingsessing in Philadelphia; Christina congregation is Holy Trinity in Wilmington, Delaware.

Descendants of Rev. William Perkins of Topsfield, Massachusetts. He was born 1607 in London, England, a son of William Perkins, merchant taylor of London. He married Elizabeth Wooten at Roxbury in 1636. Abraham (d. 1683) and Isaac (ca. 1612-1685) Perkins were founders of New Hampshire. Both died in Hampton, N.H. Abraham married Mary Wise (ca. 1618-1706), daughter of Humphrey Wise of Ipswich, Mass. Isaac married Susanna Wise, also a daughter of Humphrey...
