William Vandiver was born supposedly in 1720 in Salem county, N. J. He died in Hampshire county, Va. in 1805. He was a descendant of either Cornelius Janszens or captain Jacob Jacobsen Vanderveer, son of Jacob Vanderveer born in Holland c 1600. William married Elizabeth Lewis. Her will was dated 15 Feb 1815.

Edward Callaway Vandiver (1829-1904) married Margaret Amelia Welch and lived in Franklin County, Georgia. Descendants lived in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Missouri, Louisiana, Texas, Florida and elsewhere.

Jared Haddon was born in England in 1608, and immigrated to Boston, Massachusetts during or before 1634. He lived in Cambridge and Amesbury, and died in 1689. Includes Adams, Bond, Brodie, Watson, Vandiver and related families.

Family history and genealogical information about the descendants of James McGlaughlin who was born ca. 1750 in Ireland. He married Weise (given name unknown) sometime prior to the year 1777. They immigrated to America, settled in Virginia and became the parents of three sons and six daughters. Descendants lived in Ohio, Missouri, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Texas, Washington, California and elsewhere.

Abraham Lemaster (ca. 1638- 1722) was born in Ste. Marie's Parish on the Isle of Jersey to John and Sarah Lemaster. He died in Charles County, Maryland. He was the father of six children. He came to America as a servant to John Smith ca. 1661. Descendants lived mainly in Maryland, Kentucky, South Carolina, Indiana and Texas.

Roger Mallory came to Virginia in the late 1600's or early 1700's. Ancestors are included in England to the 1400's. The Vandiver family came to America from the Netherlands as early as 1659. Descendants and relatives of the Mallory and Vandiver families lived in Virginia, Alabama, Georgia, North and South Carolina and elsewhere.
