Herman Geiger (d.1751) married Elizabeth Habluzel in 1734, and in 1737 they emigrated from Switzerland to Saxe-Gotha Township, South Carolina. Descendants listed lived chiefly in South Carolina.

William Murray was born in 1754. He married Martha McQuillan in 1781 in Orangeburg, South Carolina. They had eight known children. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in South Carolina, Georgia and Indiana.
