John Fahs was born ca. 1718 in Germany. He immigrated to Pennsylvania in 1732. He married ca. 1735 Anna Eva Dorothea Knauss (b. 1719), daughter of Johann Ludwig Knauss and Anna Margaretha Gerlach. They had 4 children. John died in 1747 while his wife died in 1773, both in Pennsylvania. Descendants lived in Pennsylvania, Ohio, California, and elsewhere.
