These records list the descendants of William Youel who was born ca. 1734 near Sterling, Scotland and died before 1834 in Rockbridge County, Virginia. He was married to Elizabeth Nelson. Thomas Warren was born ca. 1763 in New York or Massachusetts. He married 1784 at Rhinebeck, Dutchess Co., New York, Rachel Traver (b. 1765). She was born at Rhinebeck to Joseph and Rebecca Van Etten Traver. Their only known child, Luke (1787-1848), was born probably in New York State. He married 1810 in New York, Mary Baird. Theron Tilden Pond (1800-1852) was born in Augusta, New York to Philip Pond and Clarissa Tilden. Theron descended from Richard Warren (1575-1628) who immigrated to America aboard the Mayflower. Theron married Sara Mary Van Ranst (1805-1884) and they were the parents of four children. In 1846 Theron created the cream which launched what eventually came to be known as Chesebrough-Pond.
