Johannes Gerber (1796-1870) was born in Switzerland and later spent ten years as a Lutheran missionary in West Africa. He immigrated to the United States in 1834. Daniel Hoopes (1672-1749) emigrated from England with his father, John, and two of Daniel's sisters. He married Jane Worrilaw in 1696 in Pennsylvania. Descendants lived throughout the United States. Some of these descendants joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Solomon Brandenburg was born in Germany about 1712 and his three oldest sons eventually immigrated to the United States. Many of his descendants lived in Maryland but others lived in Kentucky and other parts of the United States. Also includes Maryland Brandenburgs not linked to any particular family.

William Crisp was born in 1794 in Lauren, Greenville, North Carolina. He married Milley Barker and they had seven children. G. W. Kirkland married Louisa in about 1831, probably in North Carolina. They had five children. Descendants James Mansfield Crisp (1880-1948) and Julia Ann Kirkland (1885-1930) married in about 1900. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in North Carolina, Arkansas, Oklahoma, California and Washington.

She married (2) George Francis Stone (1913-1968) 23 September 1944 in Parsons, Labette, Kansas. They had five children. Ancestors have lived mainly in Virginia and Kentucky.

George Tarry was born 12 June 1748 in Amelia County, Virginia. He married Sarah Taylor 7 December 1790 in Mecklenburg County, Virginia. She was born 5 March 1766 in Mecklenburg County, Virginia. They had three children. George died in 1816 in Ivy Hill, Mecklenburg County, Virginia. Sarah died between 1824 and 1830 in Mecklenburg County, Virginia. Decendants lived mainly in Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina and Kentucky.
