John Ledyard (ca.1700-1771) immigrated from England to Hartford, Connecticut and about 1727 married Deborah Youngs. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York, Virginia, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi and elsewhere.

William Crites (1734-1806) was a son of Heinrich Creutz (1707-1792) and Annamaria Crustzen, and William immigrated in 1752 (with his father) from Germany to Philadelphia. William settled in Allen Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania, and married Dorthea Craderiman in 1755. William and some of his sons served in the Revolutionary War. Descendants and relatives lived in Pennsylvania, Ohio and elsewhere.

Four Odom brothers, John (b.1812), Jesse (b.1818), Pinckney (b.1820), and Benjamin (b.1828), moved from South Carolina (via Alabama and Mississippi) to Union Parish, Louisiana. A sister also moved to Union Parish, married a Mr. Welch, and moved to Oklahoma. Descendants and relatives lived in Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas and elsewhere.

Thomas Miller (1799-1871) was born near the Tay River in Scotland. He immigrated to Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. He married Martha Tomilson in 1837. They were the parents of six children. Isaac Alvis Wilson (1834-1920), son of John Wilson (1813-1901) and Lydia Wilson (1816-1889), was born in Campbell County, Tennessee. He married Marthh J. Graves (1839-1868) and they had two sons. He married Nancy Nash (1851-1882) and they had four children. He married Esther White (1866-1933), daughter of James E. White (1836-1908) and Mary A.
