William England was born in about 1720 in St. Pauls Parish, New Kent, Virginia. He married and had ten known children. He died in 1768 in Goochland County, Virginia. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia, Kentucky, Missouri and Illinois.

Tristram Dodge (d. 1720) sailed April, 1661, from Taunton, Mass., with the original fifteen settlers and their families that settled on Block Island, Rhode Island. His sons followed him in 1667, coming from the north of England near the river Tweed. His descendants and relatives settled in New England, New York, Wisconsin, Iowa, and elsewhere.

John Berndhissell was born in 1712 and immigrated to Philadelphia in 1732 and settled in Virginia. He died possibly before 1783 in Culpepper County. He had at least four sons, John, Leonard, Thomas, and William. John Anderson Tresham (1830-1890) was the son of Henry, who was the son of Sir Henry Tresham. Sir Henry Tresham and his brother left England between 1750 and 1760 for America. Adam Guth [Good] was the son of "Lorentz Guth and his wife Mary Guth who emigrated from Rheinfals, Germany [and] landed at Philadelphia, Pa., on the 19th day of Sept., A. D., 1730. ... Henry Goding was master of the British ship "Abigail" which visited Massachusetts Bay in 1628. His son, William Goding, was an apprentice in 1640, to Comfort Starr, of Cambridge and Duxbury, Massachusetts, but later returned to Middlesex County where he died. Ludowick Hawksie, a Quaker, according to tradition, emigrated from Scotland in the middle of the seventeenth century. He settled in that part of Sandwich, Massachusetts, known as Spring Hill.
