George E. Kenfield (1870-1941) was the son of Orsamus Kenfield (1828- 1892) of Sturbridge, Massachusetts. He was the grandson of Orsamus Kentfield (1799-1828) of Belchertown, Mass. He married Mary I. Morrell (1873-1954). Their daughter Arvilla J. Kenfield (1911-1968) married Frederic P. Crandall (b.1910). Family members lived at Sturbridge, Brimfield and other places in Massachusetts. Sixteen generations of ancestors are given.

Edward Webber married Patience Hobbs in 1703 at Ipswich, Massachusetts; they were the grandparents of Andrew Webber (1763-1845). Andrew was born in Methuen, Massachusetts, married Lucy Cross in 1784, and moved to the vicinity of Bath, New Hampshire. John Webber (ca.1700-1759), son of James Webber of London, immigrated in 1722 from England to Rehoboth, Massachusetts, and married Hannah Rounds in 1737. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York and elsewhere. Some descendants immigrated to the province of Quebec and elsewhere in Canada.

Everardus Bogardus was born in Holland and immigrated to New Amsterdam in 1633. He was ordained the first Dutch minister in New Amsterdam the same year.
