Carl Augustus Weigel was born in 1812 in Albersroda, Saxony. He married Johanna Christiane Hirsch in 1843. They had eight children. They emigrated in 1847 and settled in Tennessee.

The Weigel families inhabited the regions of Bavaria, Rhine Palatinate and the two districts of Saxony. In the early 1700's they began to immigrate to America. Includes families in Maryland, Delaware, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Virginia. John Michael Weigley (d. 1780) arrived with William Penn and was possibly the first immigrant ancestor.

Samuel K. Snyder (1883-1948) and Etta Sylvania Rothermel (1884-1965) were married in 1904 in Pennsylaniva and made their first home at Philadelphia. They had thirteen children, 1904-1923. The family moved to a farm in Nebraska, where they were sharecroppers, ca. 1909; and to Oregon in 1933. Sam and Etta Snyder are buried in the Mountain View Cemetery, Oregon City, Oregon. Descendants lived in Oregon, Washington, and elsewhere.

Georg married Barbara Teufel 1 June 1824. Barbara died 12 April 1841 and Georg married Anna Bar Keller ca. 1842. They immigrated to America ca. 1847 and settled in Indiana. Nicholas Rohleder was born in 1861 in Graf, Russia. He married Clementina Geier and they had two children. They emigrated in 1892. Clementina died shortly after arriving in New York. He married Mary Herman, daughter of Anton Herman and Elizabeth Dreiling, in 1893 in Kansas, They had twelve children. He died in 1939 in Victoria, Kansas.
