David Arthur Oakley (1945- ) was born in Spanish Fork, Utah to Arthur Delos Oakley (1904-1988) and Wilda Weight (1908- ). Arthur was a descendant of early members of the LDS Church who had settled in Springville and Parowan, Utah. Wilda was also a descendant of early settlers of Springville. Other ancestors were aerly settlers of New York and New England and were originally from England and France. Descendants of Arthur and Wilda live in Utah.

Thomas Noakes (1791-1871) married Emma Inkpen in 1810, and immigrated from England to land in what became Medina County, Ohio. They became converts to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1842, and moved to Salt Lake City, Utah, later settling at Springville, Utah. Descendants lived in Utah, Arizona, California and elsewhere.

In 1754, Adam Wacht (Wecht) & his brother Johann George left Aich, Württemburg, Germany and came to Philadelphia. Adam was born in Germany to Joel and Anna Cathrina Wecht on 23 Dec. 1726. Adam & his wife Eve (Eva) Knecht had 6 children, all baptized at the Mertz Church, Berks County, Pennsylvania. Most of Adam's tax records were in Rockland Township, Berks County, Pennsylvania.
