Edward Welborn was born in about 1660 in Maryland or Delaware. He married Elizabeth and had four children. He died June 29, 1731 in Baltimore, Maryland. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, Maryland, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina and elsewhere.

Joshua Green, parents not listed, was born 4 Aug 1744 in Delaware. He married Susannah, parents not listed, on 24 May 1769. They had 10 children. Joshua died in July 1807 near Jonesborough, Washington, Tennessee. Susannah died in 1843, also near Jonesborough. Their descendants have lived in Tennessee and Missouri. .

Charles Bond, Sr. (1715/1718-1774/1775) was living in Goochland County, Virginia during or before 1733, and moved to Surry County, North Carolina about 1772. Descendants lived in Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Texas and elsewhere.

Johann Jacob Hein was born in 1713 in Dillenberg, Germany. He died in 1795 in Friedland, North Carolina.

Welch families of South Carolina with special emphasis on the author's ancestors and relatives in the Sumter District. Alex L. Welch was born ca. 1860 in Sumter County, South Carolina. He and his wife, Emily Octavia Robinson, had three children, 1884-1891. He and his wife probably died in the early 1900s. Most descendants listed lived in South Carolina. James Welborn (1771-1826) was born in North Carolina. He married Elizabeth Dudley (1774-1842) who was also born in North Carolina. In the early 1800's, they settled in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, and were both buried there in the Hazel Creek Cemetery. Many of their descendants remained in Muhlenberg County, and other parts of Kentucky for six generations.
