Alma Wilburn Greenhalgh (1894-1984) was born at Layton, Arizona, the son of Peter Greenhalgh (1855-1920) and Rebecca Ann Welker Greenhalgh (1864-1936). His family moved to Wilford, Idaho, in 1897. He married Ethel Marguerite Hiatt (1901-1985), daughter of Francis Marion and Alice Catherine Jenkins Hiatt, in 1921 at the Salt Lake Temple.
