Seraphina C. Scott was born 6 May 1814 to Capt. John Scott and Brilliant Holmes. She married David Hershey Welty in 1834 in Buffalo, New York. They had thirteen children. Peter Welty immigrated to America from Switzerland in 1727, with a group of Mennonites. He settled in Pennsylvania. His wife's name was Catherina, and they had two sons. He died after 1755. Descendants live throughout the eastern United States.

John Poole was born 11 September 1608 in Reading, Berkshire, England. He married Margaret Champney in 1631 in Billericay, Essex, England. They immigrated to America in 1632 and settled in Lynn, Massachusetts. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Massachusetts, Missouri and California.

Daniel Druby/Trubey (1750-1807) was born in Burguffeln, Germany to Martha Elisabeth Trubey. He entered America as a Hessian soldier and deserted in 1783 in Maryland. India Wallace was born in Indiana in 1884. Her family moved west in 1907 to Washington where she met her husband, Charles A. Prickett. Her son explores her life as well as many of her ancestors who came from New York, Ohio, New Jersey, and other eastern states. India lived the rest of her life in Washington state where she died in 1971.
