Walter Slaughter was born about 1755 in Lunenburg County, Virginia and raised by his maternal grandparents, the Richard Leakes. He fought in Revolutionary War and married Susannah Webb. He and his family moved to Georgia about 1799 and then on to Mississippi territory. Today his descendants live in Texas, Oklahoma and elsewhere in the United States.

Jurian van Westphalen came to America from Leyden, Holland in 1642. He settled in Albany,New York. He married Maretjen Hansen and they had six children. Juriaen died in about 1669. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Kingston, New York.

Isaac Pennington was born about 1797 in Virginia or Kentucky. He died in Knox County, Indiana on December 1, 1853. He married Elizabeth Price, daughter of Joshua Price and Gertrude, about 1820 in Lincoln County, Kentucky. She was born in 1805 in Kentucky and died in Harrison Township, Knox County, Indiana August 8, 1877. They had nine children. Descendants lived mainly in Indiana.
