Description
Samuel Morse (1745-ca. 1803) was born at Preston, Connecticut, the son of Dr. Moses Morse (1721-1788) and a descendant of Anthony Morse (d. 1686), the immigrant. He and his wife, Eunice Brown (ca. 1750-1836), had four children, 1766-1782, born at Worthington, Massachusetts. Samuel Morse died at Worthigton. Eunice Morse died at Williamsfield, Ohio. Descendants listed lived in Massachusetts, Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois, Kansas, Wisconsin, and elsewhere.

John Armstrong was born 5 November 1805 in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. He married Margaret Aten (1813-1882), daughter of Garret Aten and Jane Lutton, 27 November 1828. They had ten children. They moved to Ohio in about 1839.

Abraham Vandal (1758-1848) was born in Duchess County, Virginia. He married Mary Dillon (1763-1840) ca. 1780. They had eight children, 1781-1805, born in Rockbridge and Greenbrier Counties, Virginia. Abraham and Mary Vandal both died in Fayette County Virginia. Descendants lived in Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio and elsewhere.
