Hezekiah Wheat, Jr., (1805-1887) was one of ten children of Hezekiah Wheat, Sr. (1760-1833) and Mary Jane Jones. In 1837, he married Mary Killian. They reared their 7 children in Louisiana. Both of them are buried at Montpelier, La. Descendants lived in Ga., Ala., Miss., Tex. and elsewhere.

Galen Harlen Lamb was born 27 March 1873 in Allen Co., Kentucky. He was a descendant of William Lamb (born 5 March 1799 in North Carolina) and Sally Wheat. Galen married Josephine J.
