Samuel Whitsett ws born ca. 1775 in North Carolina. He lived in Lee County, Georgia and later settled in Alabama. Descendants lived in North Carolina, Georgia, Texas, Florida, and elsewhere.

Van Rensselaer Carpenter, son of Stephen Van Rensselear and Naomi Hankins, was born in 1861 in Columbus, Ohio. He married Isabel Kelley. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in England, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Missouri, Kansas and Florida.

Thomas Moore, probably the son of Thomas Moore and Rachel of Dorchester, Maryland, married Sarah (Smith?) and had a will probated in 1805. Descendants and relatives lived in North Carolina, Maryland and elsewhere.

Isaiah Whitsett Irvin (1819-1871) was a descendant of Andrew Irvin whose father came from Ireland and settled in Old Virginia. Some of the family migrated to Ohio, to Kentucky and later to Iowa. Isaiah married Virginia A. Barrere (1822- ) in 1841 in Fayette County, Ohio. Their two sons were born in Davis County, Iowa.

Adam Spach was born 20 January 1720 in Pfaffenhofen, Alsace, Germany. He married Maria Elisabeth Hueter (1731-1799) 17 December 1752 in Fredrickstown, Maryland. They had nine children. Adam died 23 August 1801 in Freidberg, North Carolina. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in North Carolina, South Carolina, Indiana and Texas.
