Samuel Dunton was born in about 1620 in England. He was living in Reading, Massachusetts by 1644. He married Hannah Felch, daughter of Henry Felch and Margaret. They had nine children. He died 9 June 1685. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Massachusetts, Maine, New York, Illinois and Texas.

James Miller (1786-1880) was born in Amherst County, Virginia. He married Nancy Campbell in 1808. The Duff/MacDuff/Kilduff family came from Scotland and Ireland prior to the Revolutionary War. Descendants, Herbert Lawrence Duff (Herb) and Marian Isabell Miller were married in Roanoke, Virginia in 1950.

Joseph Snowden (1725/30-1799) was the descendant of William Snowden by his son, John who had immigrated from England to Chester County Pennsylvania by 1678. Joseph and his wife, Sarah lived in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and a part of Virginia which later belonged to West Virginia. Descendants live throughout the United States.

Johann Nicholaus Heinrich Kress was born 12 May 1721 in Steinau on the Road, Heßen-Nassau, Germany. His parents were Johannes Peter Kress, Sr. and Anna Elizabeth Muller. He married Catherine Eberhardt in about 1755 in Pennsylvania. They had twelve children. He died in about 1783 in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in North Carolina, Illinois and Missouri.

Francesco Antonio Fiore was born April 21, 1869 in Teora, Avellino, Italy. He married Gelsomina Barbara Milano (b. 1869) Jun 7, 1893. In about 1896 he immigrated to the United States and settled in Newark, New Jersey. His wife and daughter and other family members immigrated soon after. They had seven children. Thomas Huff (1788-1855), a private in the War of 1812, was born in Virginia. He married Elizabeth "Betsy" Adams (1798-1872) in 1815 in Hancock County, Georgia. They had fourteen children, 1816-1842.
