John Whyte (1838-1924) was born at Hawkiesfauld, Fifeshire, Scotland, son of John Whyte and Elizabeth Euphemia Simpson. He immigrated to Quebec in 1858 and married Harriet Donaldson (1836-1918) in 1859 in Leeds, Megantic County, Quebec. Descendants lived in Quebec, Alberta, Manitoba, and elsewhere.

Reinart Richardson (1843-1937) immigrated in 1857 from Norway to Streator, Illinois with an older brother, and changed his surname from Skimmeland to Richardson. He married Christina Fugleberg in 1866 and moved to Wright County, Iowa about 1890. Descendants and relatives lived in Illinois, Iowa, Ohio, Kentucky, Arizona and elsewhere.

Edward Felton, son of William Felton and Millicent Hurdle, was born in 1816 in Chowan County, North Carolina. He married Telitha Wright, daughter of Samuel Wright and Jane Taylor, in 1838 in Preble County, Ohio. They had fourteen children. He died in 1883.
