Beatrice Alethia Orsot was born 30 September 1926 in Savannah, Georgia. Her father was Antonio Orsot (aka Jean Baptiste Anthony Orso), born 22 March 1889 in St. Martinville, Louisiana. Her mother was Alethia Philomene Kay, born 24 January 1892. Her grandparents were Arthur Henry Orso, Leonarde Wiltz, Walter Kay and Jessie Harrison. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia, Louisiana and California.

Chiefly a record of the descendants of Hendrick Martensen Wiltsee. He was born at sea in the spring of 1623 to Philippe Maton de Wiltz and Sophia Bosch. He married Margariet Meyers 10 Jan 1660 in New York. Margarita was the widow of Herman Jansen and the dauaghter of Jan Meyers and Fenntie Straitsman.
