David Ackerman was born in Oss, province of North Brabant in the Netherlands. He married Lysbeth Bellier in 1641. They immigrated to New York in 1662. Descendants lived in New York and elsewhere. Casperus Ackerman, born in 1752, the first of this family to settle in Albany County, recorded a deed in 1791.

Irvin Woodbury Harmon was born 18 June 1893 in Hawaii. His parents were Melvin Myron Harmon and Alice Cannon Woodbury. He married Winnie Agnes Rees Midgley (1894-1980), daughter of Jonathan Killip Midgley and Mary Amelia Jenkins Rees, 29 August 1917 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They had seven children. Irvin died 20 April 1971 in St. George, Utah. Includes some ancestral information.
