Christian Meyer probably immigrated from Switzerland (via Amsterdam) to Philadelphia about 1700 and later settled in Lower Salford Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. He married Barbara in about 1704 and they had six children, Christian, Jacob, Samuel, Elizabeth, Anna and Barbara. He died in about 1751. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Pennsylvania, Ontario and Illinois. .

Christian Allebach came to Pennsylvania sometime before 1727. He married Maria Friedt Greter, daughter of Paul Friedt and Elisabeth Stauffer, who was a widow with three children. They had nine children. He died in 1746. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Pennsylvania.
