Wilson Cross (1777-1840) married Mary Bagley, and in 1831 the family immigrated from England to Rochester, New York, moving to White Pigeon Prairie, Wisconsin in 1832, and to Racine County, Wisconsin in 1836. Peter Crary was born in about 1645 in Scotland. He was living in Groton, Connecticut by 1663. He married Christobel Gallup in 1677. They had seven children. He died in 1708. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in New England, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Illinois, Kansas, Washington and California. Christopher Crary may have been his father and John Crary may have been his brother.

Mary Louise Marshall was born 16 March 1816 in West Hartford, Connecticut. Her parents were Oliver Cromwell Marshall and Lucy Crary Witter. She married Jefferson B. Nones 25 December 1833. They had ten children. She died 21 December 1897 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, Kentucky and Indiana.

His son, John Bishop (1709-1785), married twice and immigrated from Connecticut to Horton, Nova Scotia in 1760/1763. Descendants lived in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Alberta and elsewhere. David French, the son of Samuel and Mary Beardlee French, acquired land in Hopkinton and Potsdam, New York, in 1803, after living in Vermont and Connecticut. He married Sally Tupper in 1804 and settled in South Potsdam with her in March 1805. Several generations of descendants have lived on the French family farm.
