Description
Solomon Wolf (1814-1866), son of Andrew Wolf, was born in Adams County near Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. His father, Andrew, came to Pennsylvania from Germany and settled first in Germantown near Philadelphia, then in Adams Co., Pa. in 1782. Solomon married Margaret Matilda (1819-1886) in 1837. They were parents of eleven children. Descendants live in Pennsylvania, Ohio and elsewhere.

Description
George Herzog (b. ca. 1800), winebroker and farmer, lived in Nieder-Saulheim, Germany. He and his wife, Juliana Hirsch, had seven children, 1835-1846. His son, Maximillian Herzog (1846-1926) and some children of his daughter, Barbara Hezog Strauss (1835-1911) and her husband Abraham Strauss (1825-1901), immigrated to the United States and settled in California. Most descendants listed lived in California.

Descendants of Jacob Antes (1802-1880), born in Bavaria. He married Catherine Grimm, who was born in Bavaria 1794 and died ca. 1866-1870 in Connecticut. They had six children. This couple immmigrated to Connecticut 1849-1854. There are three main divisions of the Jacob Antes family: the western branch, the Massachusetts branch and the Connecticut branch.

Gottfried August (John) Schnackenberg was born in 1833 in Verden, Hanover, Germany. His parents were Claus Heinrich Schnackenberg and Magdalena Hancke. He emigrated in 1851 and lived in New York, California and Panama before settling in Michigan in 1858. He married Matilde Benter (1840-1904). They had nine children. Their daughter, Lucy, married Gottlieb Katz in 1900. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Michigan.
