Elgeva Victory Horton, son of John Horton and Rachel Lord, was born in 1840 in Boston, New York. He marrid Elizabeth Jane Fletcher in 1871 in Paola, Kansas. They had seven children. He died in 1904 in Kansas.

Thomas Scott was born in 1786 in Washington, Pennsylvania. He married Sarah Mahurin, daughter of Samuel Mahurin, 29 September 1805 in Shelby County, Kentucky. They had nine children. He died in about 1850 in Miller County, Missouri. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Missouri.
