Esther Morton Smith (1865-1942) was the third of six children born to Benjamin Rapier Smith (1825-1904) and Esther Fisher Wharton (1836-1915). Esther's grandparents were Daniel B. Smith and Esther Morton, and William Wharton and Deborah Fisher. Their families were devout Quakers. Esther lived many years with her sister married Anna Wharton Smith Wood and her family. Henry Wilson, son of Henry Wilson and Mary Harding, was born in about 1735 in Chatham, Massachusetts. He married Sarah Chase, daughter of Obadiah Chase and Mary Smith. They had eight children. He died in 1808 in Barrington, Nova Scotia.
