Autobiography of William Layne Woolf (1890- ) son of William and Lucinda Marie Layne Woolf of Cardston, Alberta, Canada. He and Flora Tanner were married in 1913. They moved to Utah, then to Washington, D.C., then back to Utah. They had two sons. Both the ancestors and descendants were members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Arland DeVoe Woolf was born 3 July 1908 in Willow Creek, now Ucon, Idaho. His parents were John Anthony Woolf and Amelia Rachel Hancy. He married Breta Lavon Hansen in 1926 in Logan, Utah and they had five children. Breta was born in 1905 in Iona, Idaho. Her parents were Charles O.W. Hansen and Mary Lee. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Idaho, Utah and California.

The Toolson family emigrated from Sweden in 1857. They had converted to the LDS Church in their native land and eventually arrived in Utah in 1858. They settled in Smithfield, Utah. In 1862 one of the Toolson sons, Lars Toolson (1836-1894), married Ingra Tufvesson. They were the parents of six children. One of their children was Lars Lorenzo Toolson (1863-1923). Family history of Scott Brown Brown (1885-1961), born in Salt Lake City to Homer Manley Brown and Lydia Jane Brown. He married Edith Elvira Hill (1888-1971) 1917. Swan Magnus Carlson (b. 1853) emigrated from Sweden in 1875. His wife, Hilda Wilhelmina Askerberg emigrated in 1879. They had six children. The Anders Johan Edvard Hellgren and Hedda Charlotta/ Lotta Lindgren family emigrated from Sweden in 1868. Both of these families settled in Jamestown, N. Y. Descendants intermarried and some of them migrated to Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio and elsewhere.

Ephraim Middaugh I (1763-1847) immigrated from Holland to New Jersey in 1790, and married Lydia Hunter in New Jersey. They moved to Sugar Creek near Shanesville, Tuscarawas County, Ohio.
