Henry Tomlinson was baptized in 1606 in St. Peter's Werbury, Derbyshire, England. He married Alice in about 1636. They had eight children. They emigrated and settled in Connecticut. Henry died in 1680/81 in Stratford, Fairfield, Connecticut. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Connecticut.

John Curtis was baptized 15 September 1577 in Nazeing, Essex, England. He married Elizabeth Hutchins, daughter of John Hutchins and Maria, in 1610. They had three sons, John, William and Thomas. John emigrated in 1635, followed by his parents and two brothers in about 1637. They settled in Roxbury, Massachusetts. He died in 1639 in Wethersfield, Connecticut.
