Thomas Rowell Leavitt was born in 1843 and died in 1891. He had three wives: Ann Eliza Jenkins, Antoinette Davenport, and Harriet Martha Dowdle. His descendants are concentrated around Cardston, Alberta and Wellsville, Utah.

William Wallace Workman (1852-1942), son of James Workman and Rebecca Peck Chambers (1823-1911), married Mary Alice Roach (d. 1882). They had four children. He married Chloe Lacona Cook (1864-1951), daughter of Thomas Green Cook (1830-1902) and Margaret Brooks (1834-1884), in 1882 and they had twelve children. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia and West Virginia.

John "Black Jock" Glimer (ca. 1799- ca 1870) was born in Ireland. He married Isabella "Belle" Cochrane sometime in 1818. They had eight children. In ca. 1832 they emigrated to Lower Canada. Their son, John Gilmer (1819-1911) was born in Ballyclare, Ireland. He married Mary Jane Christie in 1839 and they settled in Pleasant Valley, Upper Canada. They had at least ten children. Description
William Ledgerwood (ca.1701-1792), and two brothers, James and John, immigrated from Scotland (via Ireland) to Augusta County, Virginia during or before 1738. Samuel Ledgerwood (d.1817), probably a son of John, moved from Virginia to Greene (now Knox) County, Tennessee in the early 1800s, and married Sarah (Sally) Pearce in 1808. Descendants lived in Virginia, Tennessee, Indiana and elsewhere.

Earliest known ancestor, John Workman, Sr. (b. ca. 1750, d. after 1830), was born near Philadelphia, Pa. He married Fran Sina Duffel (ca. 1753-1805) 1774 in Philadelphia. Couple lived in Augusta County, Va. in the late 1770's and early 1790's. In 1804 family was living in Adair Co., Kentycky. They were parents of ten children, who were born between 1776 and 1790. Descendants live in Kentucky, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Texas and elsewhere.
