The immigrant ancestor was George Haworth (d.1724), son of James and Isabel Haworth, who immigrated from England to Bucks County, Pennsylvania in 1699, and married Mary Scarbro in 1710. Descendants and relatives lived in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Indiana, Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska and elsewhere.

Josephine Bailey was born in Utah in 1916. She married twice, to Hobart DeWolf and later Paul Harames. She was active as a professional genealogist and this material covers material on her own ancestry and those of her clients. Many of these individuals were members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Background on the English roots of these people is also given.
