Sidney Spivey Gambrell was born 2 January 1907 in Lockhart, Texas. His parents were John Newton Gambrell (1864-1931)and Mary Mooney (1868-1947). He married Nora Katherine Rheinlander (1906-1986), daughter of Frank Jacob Rheinlander (1872-1957) and Katherina Sophia Augusta Ficke (1880-1969). They had two children. Godfrey Cody was born in about 1750. He and his brother, Thomas, were early settlers in Rutherford County, North Carolina. Includes early Fender, Hensley, Lewis, Sprinkle and Wilde families who settled in North Carolina and intermarried.

Richard Holland was born in 1800 in North Carolina. His parents were Richard Holland and Nina Taylor. He married Elizabeth Hensley, daughter of James Hensley and Nancy Anderson, in 1825 in Buncombe County, North Carolina. They had fourteen children. Richard died after 31 May 1875. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in North Carolina, Kentucky, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas and California.

Samuel Hinckley, son of Robert Hinckley (1537-1606) and Katherine Leese, was born 23 May 1589 in Harrietsham, Kent, England. He married Sarah Soole in 1617. He died in 1662 in Barnstable, Massachusetts. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in England, Massachusetts and Connecticut.
