Walter Scott Wyman was born in West Waterville (Oakland), Maine. He was active in the power industry and later died in Augusta, Maine.

Francis Wyman (d.1658/9)emigrated with his brother John, to Charlestown, Massachusetts from West Mill, Herts County, England, sometime in the 1600s. Later he built a home in Burlington, Maine, which has been lived in continuously since 1666. He was the progenitor of Daniel (1752-1831) and Raymond Currier Wyman (b.1905). Harvey Gillitt was born 26 September 1830 in Lysander, Onandaga, New York. His parents were Nathan Colegrove Gillitt and Jemima Ash. He married Georgeanna Rebecca Shubert, daughter of George Shubert and Elizabeth Eastburn Beckhorn, 15 June 1857 in Philadelphia. They had nine children. Harvey died in 1903 in Hastings, Minnesota. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Minnesota and California.
