George Pooderback/Putterbaugh/Butterbaugh (1730-1794) and his wife, Christina, immigrated from Germany to Pennsylvania where they reared their eight children. One descendant, Benjamin Rowland Miller (1887- 1961) was born in Iowa and migrated to Texas. By his first wife, Olive Vallandigham, he three children. He married Eva Rozelle Hulsizer who had one son.
