Richard Breeden married Sarah Lockhart and moved from Jefferson County, Tennessee to Ripley County, Indiana in the early 1700s. Descendants and relatives lived in Tennessee, Indiana, Ohio, and elsewhere. Some descendants became members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and lived in Utah and elsewhere; includes some temple ordinance data on their ancestry.

James Canady was born in about 1753 in Pennsylvania or Maryland. He married Rebecca Spurgeon, daughter of James Spurgeon (1699-1790) and Susannah, 3 January 1780 in Bedford County, Pennsylvania. He died in 1823 in Bourbon County, Kentucky. His son, James Kenady and wife Matilda Browning, moved to Floyd County, Indiana in 1816. John William Stayton (1830-1894) married Jennie Weldon in 1856 at Milburn, Ballard County, Kentucky, and subsequently moved to Tyler, Smith County, Texas. Jennie was a daughter of Abraham Weldon (b.1800) and Mary Grundy Rutter, who also moved from Kentucky to Texas (to Indianola, Calhoun County, Texas). James Breeden and his brother Thomas immigrated from England to Boston, Massacchusetts during or before 1638, and later moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia. Thomas then returned to England. James and Edward, grandsons of Thomas, immigrated from England to Virginia in 1678, and by 1742 were settled in Augusta County, [Virginia]. Descendants and relatives lived in Tennessee, Illinois, Oklahoma, California and elsewhere.
