Thomas Brush (b.ca.1610), son of John Brush, emigrated from England to Southold, Long Island, New York before 1647. Descendants lived in New York, New Jersey, New England, Ohio, Kansas, Iowa and elsewhere. Some descendants immigrated to Ontario and elsewhere in Canada.

William Mead and his brother, Goodman, immigrated in 1635 from England to Boston, Massachusetts; Goodman remained in Massachusetts, and William settled in Windsor, then Wethersfield, then Stamford, Connecticut. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Iowa, Wisconsin, California and elsewhere.
