Cornelis Doremus married Janneke Joris van Elsland in 1675 in Holland. They emigrated between 1684 and 1687 to New Jersey. Descendants lived in New Jersey, New York, and elsewhere.

Mordecai Marks was born in 1706 in London, England and immigrated in 1726 to Stratford, Connecticut. He married Elizabeth Voisen in 1729 and moved to Derby, Connecticut. He died in 1771.

Robert Ogden (1716-1787), the eldest son and second child of Robert and and Hannah Crane Ogden, was born at Elizabethtown, Essex County, New Jersey. He married Phebe Hatfield ca. 1735. They had twenty two children, ca. 1737-1765, eight were still born and three died as infants or children. He died at Sussex, New Jersey. Oliver Johnson Scofield was born 7 March 1832 in Penn Yan, Yates Co., New York. He was a descendant of Robert Scolefelde and Marjorie (surname unknown) who were married in the parish of Rochdale, Lancashire, England 14 October 1590. Oliver married twice and was the father of twelve children. Descendants lived primarily in Wisconsin, Illinois and elsewhere.
