John Frederick Kirshof (d.ca.1830), probably the son of a German immigrant, married widow Catherine (Wacker) Bowman in 1782 in Shenandoah County, Virginia and (after her death) married Barbara Koontz in 1795. Descendants lived in Virginia, Ohio, Illinois, California, Indiana, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Colorado, Maryland, West Virginia, Iowa, Tennessee, Deleware, Texas and elsewhere.

Sarah Bewley was born in 1786. Her son, Oliver Hazard Perry Bewley, was born 22 May 1809 in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He married Rebecca (1804-1865). They had five children. He died 2 October 1894 in Montgomery County, Illinois. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Germany, Switzerland, North Carolina and Illinois.

Hans Johannes (Pheiffer) Phifer, son of Leonard Pheiffer and Brigetta Haner, was born 19 July 1685 in Bretzwill, Basel, Switzerland. He married Agnes Moschinger, daughter of Hans Moschinger and Agnes, in 1706 in Rumlingen, Switzerland. They had eleven children. Five of their sons immigrated to America, settling in Pennsylvania and North Carolina.
