He married Lettie Christensen 18 October 1901 in Logan, Cache County, Utah. She was born 24 December 1877 in Greytown, New Zealand, daughter of Anders Christensen and Metta Marie Grundal Nielsen. In 1878 they moved to Pinedale, Arizona, and in 1889 to Colonia Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. Descendants lived in Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Utah and elsewhere.
